AceShowbiz - A new update on a recent shooting at DaBaby's North Carolina estate has been unveiled. If a new report is to be believed, the "ROCKSTAR" hitmaker was the one who pulled the trigger after a man trespassed his house.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that DaBaby had a back-and-forth with the intruder before shooting the unidentified man in the leg. The emcee reportedly called 911 after the incident happened and was cooperative with police upon their arrival.

Troutman Police Department has confirmed that the shooting took place on Wednesday evening, April 13 at around 7:45 P.M near the football field on the property. In a press release, TPD stated that when officers arrived on scene, they found one person suffering from "non-life-threatening wound to the lower extremity." He was later transported by Iredell County EMS personnel to a medical facility.

Before DaBaby was identified as the shooter, it was said that the person who made a 911 call was instructed to secure his weapon by telecommunicators. The caller, however, refused because he feared there could be more intruders.

While DaBaby has yet to offer more details about the ordeal, he was seemingly pissed off that his address was included in the police report. "Media telling n***as business be the main reason n***as get fye put on em [shrug emoji][blast emoji]," he argued in an Instagram Story.

DaBaby, whose real name is Jonathan Lyndale Kirk, has been involved in a shooting incident before. A 19-year-old man was shot in the abdomen and died soon after during the incident in Huntersville, North California in 2019.

The "Suge" spitter confirmed his involvement in the shooting and said he acted in self-defense. The most serious charges were dropped in March 2019, and he pleaded guilty to carrying a concealed weapon, a misdemeanor.
