In a new episode of his podcast 'Trading Secrets', Jason alleges that Colton convinced the producers of the show that he would give 'good TV ratings' on 'The Bachelor'.

AceShowbiz - "The Bachelorette" alum Jason Tartick is not a fan of Colton Underwood. In a new episode of his podcast "Trading Secrets", Jason accused his fellow contestant on "The Bachelorette" of being "very calculated."
Jason claimed that Colton told the producers of the show that they should pick him as the next "The Bachelor" lead if they wanted "good TV ratings." He went on to say that he wasn't chosen because the producers knew he "wouldn't have been manipulated" during his time on the series.
"I'm just not in the business of getting manipulated to create drama … one of the big reasons is because I'm boring. I'm vanilla," Jason, who appeared in Becca Kufrin's season of "The Bachelorette" alongside Colton, explained. "They know I wouldn't have been manipulated, I wouldn't have done crazy s**t. He was exactly right. He nailed it."
Jason went on to share that he hasn't talked to Colton after he noticed that the latter unfollowed him and his fiancee Kaitlyn Bristowe on social media. "No, I don't talk to him," Jason said. "Ironically enough, just found out he recently unfollowed Kaitlyn and I. Not sure why. We returned the favor."
Jason assumed that Colton made the move because his ex Cassie Randolph made an appearance on Kaitlyn's podcast back in March. Additionally, Jason said that Colton was initially working on getting a Netflix show about his relationship with Cassie, not about his coming out journey, which eventually was played on "Coming Out Colton".
"He was gonna have a show with Cassie, then he was gonna have a show by himself with his friends," Jason alleged. "He was working every angle to get a Netflix show, and I commend him, you know? He knows what he wants and he goes for it."
