AceShowbiz - Young Thug just had an awkward encounter with a fan. The "Pick Up the Phone" rapper was clearly not amused after someone purposely mistook him for Future when he stepped out at a shopping mall.
A video shared by DJ Akademiks on Instagram saw an unnamed guy, who was off camera, approaching Thug while he was walking with his pal. "My favorite rapper Future! Boy Future wassup," the troll could be heard saying in the clip.
Not impressed by the prank, the YSL Records founder gave the man his death stare. When the individual tried to touch his hand, the emcee brushed it off and walked away.
Many social media users also found the interaction "corny." Another, meanwhile, opined, "Ok this ain't funny." Someone else commented, "That's so lame either show love or keep moving all that trolling will get a n***a hurt."
Earlier this month, Thug had such an unpleasant experience with a private jet pilot. He and his frequent collaborator Gunna were kicked out of the plane since the pilot accused them of being disruptive and disrespectful toward one member of the flight crew.
Upset by the incident, Thug confronted the pilot and recorded it. "You said my friend couldn't get on the plane because he didn't have an ID," he said, before asking, "Did he disrespect you?"
The pilot replied, "You cannot fly without an ID." In response, the "Bubbly" spitter stressed, "How did we disrespect one of your colleagues? Tell us! What did we do? Oh 'you don't have to tell y'all that,' yeah because you're racist. That ain't P. You're a racist prick."
"You can't tell me nothing else that happened," the 30-year-old Atlanta native, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, further stressed. "You're racist as f**k. Your wife should leave you."
