While the City Girls rapper shuts down the hater, some other Internet users apparently do think that the viral song was being overplayed on social media and it ruins the track.

AceShowbiz - Muni Long's "Hrs and Hrs" is undeniably a huge hit on social media as the track has been used by brands and influencers for their promotions. However, the overexposure seemingly makes people think that the song has lost its appeal.
"Hrs & Hrs was such a great song until y'all started putting it over videos of you doing lash extensions, feed-in braids, and frying crab legs," one critic wrote in a tweet, which was reposted by Hollywood Unlocked's Instagram account. JT caught wind of the post and decided to hop into the conversation to defend the song.
"NO! ppl haters how else will it get heard," the City Girls rapper opined. "When one person gets tired another person discovers it! Keep playing the song for hrs & hrs! Support our black ppl."
While JT shut down the critic, some other Internet users apparently did think that the song was being overplayed. "I'm so over that song and I've never even heard the full version. They definitely ruined it," someone noted.
Another person, meanwhile, said that the worst has yet to come. "Valentine's Day ain't even come yet, it's only gonna get worse haha," the person wrote.
"Honestly Instagram and tik Tok be ruining songs like I be tired before listening to the whole song," one other weighed in on the matter. Echoing the sentiment, someone added, "They really have and the covers to this song like just ruined it."
"Hrs and Hrs" is among tracks off Muni's album "Public Displays of Affection, which was released in November 2021. As for Muni, she's also a songwriter, writing hits for the likes of Mariah Carey, Selena Gomez, Rihanna, Ariana Grande and Demi Lovato among others.
