A member of L.A. Crips speaks out against the 'Don't Tell 'Em' spitter in a recorded phone call following the death of the West Coast hip-hop artist in an altercation at a music festival.

AceShowbiz - YG is seemingly blamed for Drakeo the Ruler's death. Following the Los Angeles native's tragic passing over the weekend, the Compton rapper is somehow being dragged into the conversation considering his bad blood with the late artist.

In a newly-surfaced recorded phone call, a person, who is reportedly a member of L.A. Crips, spoke out against YG. Blasting the "Toot It and Boot It" rhymer, the gang member banned YG from performing in Los Angeles anymore.

"YG is a real-life b***h n***a. YG can't perform in L.A. no more. N***as always do some gang s**ts. I'm over this s**t," he said in the audio, which was posted on Gossip of the City's YouTube channel. The person then brought up YG's rivalry with Drakeo, accusing the former of setting things up.

"It's weird because Drakeo actually tried to f**k with the Blood at first. YG knew Drakeo was going to take his spot," the anonymous person continued ranting. "N***a set the whole s**t up. It was all set up from the start, bro."

It's unclear what was Drakeo's relation to the Crips as he was reportedly not affiliated to either the Crips or the Bloods during his life. As for YG, he has publicly acknowledged that he joined the Bloods gang in 2006 at age 16.

Drakeo was stabbed to death during a violent altercation backstage at Exposition Park during the star-studded event, Once Upon a Time, on Saturday, December 18. Rumor has it, it was a gang-related altercation. YG and Drakeo as well as Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube and 50 Cent were among big stars set to perform at the event.

The "Talk to Me" was rushed to a nearby hospital with a serious wound after being jumped at by a group of people backstage, but he did not survive. He was only 28 years old. His manager Wack100 was allegedly caught in the melee as well.

Prior to his death, Drakeo got into a fight with YG. The bad blood between the two escalated earlier this year after Drakeo threated to kill YG in a viral social media video if he didn't stop disrespecting him in interviews.

However, as of now there is nothing to suggest that YG was involved in the incident. The California Highway Patrol, which is leading the investigation, also told The Sun on Sunday night "there's nothing credible" to suggest any of the other performers at the musical festival were involved.
