In the interview with The New Yorker, the 'Charlie's Angels' actress also addresses 'public stoicism' surrounding her role as Bella Swan in the famous saga.

AceShowbiz - Kristen Stewart reminisced her time filming "Twilight" saga with her ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson. In a new interview with The New Yorker, the "Spencer" star recalled her romance with Robert as well as their first "Twilight" makeout.

While recounting her first impression of "The Batman" actor during the audition, Kristen "mimicked a swoon." She explained, "It was so clear who worked," adding that Robert had "intellectual approach that was combined with 'I don't give a f**k about this, but I'm going to make this sing.' And I was, like, 'Ugh, same.' "

"And I was, like, 'Ugh, same,' " the actress recalled, with a smile. "And, whatever, we were young and stupid and, not to say that we made it so much better, but that's what it needed, and that's what anybody playing those parts needed to feel."

Of her chemistry with Robert, whom she started dating in mid-2009 before they split in 2013, Kristen said, "Whatever, we were young and stupid and, not to say that we made it so much better, but that's what [the film] needed, and that's what anybody playing those parts needed to feel."

In the interview, the "Personal Shopper" actress also addressed "public stoicism" surrounding her role as Bella Swan in the saga. "Like, how fun for people to think they know you," she said. "Did you think I was going to do 'Twilight' forever? Is that how you saw me? If that's how you saw me, then you really set me up for success, because I can do way more than that."

This is not the first time for Kristen to talk about her past romance with Robert as she admitted in 2019 that she thought she would end up getting married to the actor. "Every relationship I've ever been in, I thought that was it. I've never like casually--maybe one or two, okay, I'm not giving everyone that due. I've never really been the most casual person," she shared at the time. "We were together for years, that was my first [love]."

Obviously, Kristen is going to marry fiancee Dylan Meyer instead. The "Charlie's Angels" actress confirmed her engagement to her girlfriend of two years to Howard Stern earlier this month. "We're marrying, we're totally gonna do it," she said on SiriusXM's "The Howard Stern Show". "I wanted to be proposed to, so I think I very distinctly carved out what I wanted and she nailed it. We're marrying, it's happening."
