The 'Save Your Tears' hitmaker and the house music trio have teamed up for 'Moth to A Flame' that they plan to make available for listening in the third week of October.

AceShowbiz - The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia will release their track "Moth to a Flame" this week (beginning October 18).

The "Save Your Tears" hitmaker and the house music trio - comprising Axwell, Sebastian Ingrosso and Steve Angello - have shared a snippet of the track in a new clip on social media.

The video features a darkly lit close-up of the singer's face with sunglasses on, before their names and the song title flashes on the screen.

Both The Weeknd and Swedish House Mafia shared the same caption, "this week."

The "Take My Breath" singer recently credited the "Don't You Worry Child" hitmakers for inspiring his upcoming follow-up to 2020's acclaimed "After Hours" LP.

That aside, the Canadian star was recently named as a Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations' World Food Programme. The title was given to him after he donated $1 million (£735,214) to the food-assistance branch of the United Nations towards relief efforts in Ethiopia, amid their humanitarian crisis.

The Weeknd said in a statement, "The U.N. World Food Programme is doing urgent and important work to change and save lives on a daily basis and I feel passionately about addressing world hunger and helping people in need. Our partnership is an authentic extension of all our efforts and intentions to help those in need and bring an end to so much suffering."
