ABC

"Roseanne" was rebooted in 2018 with all the cast members returning, much to fans’ delight. However, the revival was only short-lived no thanks to Roseanne Barr, who landed in hot water over her racist rant about former Obama administration official Valerie Jarrett on Twitter.

In a since-deleted tweet, the actress wrote, "muslim brotherhood & planet of the apes had a baby=vj." Announcing the cancellation, Channing Dungey, president of ABC Entertainment, said in a statement at the time, "Roseanne's Twitter statement is abhorrent, repugnant and inconsistent with our values, and we have decided to cancel her show." While "Roseanne" was cancelled, ABC developed its spin-off "The Conners" without Barr.

After pulling "19 Kids and Counting" from its schedule, TLC announced in July 2015 that it pulled the plug on the show. The decision was made after cast members Josh Duggar admitted to sexually molesting minor girls starting when he was 14 years old. Two of his alleged victims were his own sisters, Jessa Duggar and Jill Duggar.

"After thoughtful consideration, TLC and the Duggar family have decided to not move forward with '19 Kids and Counting.' The show will no longer appear on the air," the network told ABC News in a statement. Josh's parents Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar continued, "With God's grace and help, Josh, our daughters and our entire family overcame a terrible situation, found healing and a way forward. We are so pleased with the wonderful adults they have all become."

Confirming the cancellation, VH1 said in a statement that the decision was made due to "unfortunate events over the weekend and the seriousness of the allegations." "Ev and Ocho" documented "the journey of this charismatic and passionate couple's every step, as they prepare to walk down the aisle and into each other's hearts forever."
