'Below Deck Sailing Yacht' Star Dani Soares Calls Out Her Daughter's Father: 'Do Some Action'

Breaking her silence about Lilly Rose's father in a new interview, the first-time mom insists that he 'needs to do more than just talk' to be in her daughter's life.

AceShowbiz - Dani Soares has addressed her daughter Lilly Rose's dad. Though she has yet to reveal the identity of the man, the "Below Deck Sailing Yacht" star argued that her newborn baby's father needs to "do some action."

Speaking out about the baby's father, the 33-year-old new mom admitted to PEOPLE, "I'm not going to badmouth anybody because my daughter is going to see everything that I'm saying, everything that I'm doing and I don't want her to see things going back and forth on social media or things being said in a moment of anger." She went on to point out, "As I said, the door's always open, but you need to do more than just talk. You need to actually have some action, do some action."

Of her daughter, Dani explained, "The father was part of it, I didn't make her alone." The single mom continued to stress that if the father wants to be a part of the baby's life, he needs to do something. "So, if he wants to be part of her life obviously [he can]. But he needs to do more than talk," she said.

Elsewhere in the interview, the first-time mom told the outlet that becoming a new mom was "really really hard." She explained, "It's quite frustrating sometimes when she cries and I'm not sure what's wrong with her. And I had quite a bit of problem breastfeeding, but thank God that's solved now ... I'm getting used to it now. Just the first and second weeks are really scary."

The Bravo star admitted she never "imagined" that she would become a single mom. "In my head, I always wanted to meet somebody, get married and then have kids. Have a traditional 'family,' " she shared. "I definitely didn't want to move to a new country ... get a job and then [have] a new baby, about to start university."

Additionally, in a preview for the Bravo show's season 2 reunion, Dani could be seen claiming that her baby's father is keeping a distance from her and his own daughter. "He thinks it's not his child, he doesn't want to have anything to do with it," she claimed in the sneak peek of the episode, which was released on Monday, June 21.

Though Dani has yet to reveal the identity of Lilly's father, many concluded that the father is Jean-Luc Cerza Lanaux. Though Jean-Luc has set the record straight that he has no baby with her, on Saturday, June 19, he admitted that he was willing to take a paternity test to find out whether he's Lilly's father.

"I learned of the baby's birth, not the pregnancy, on [Instagram]," he penned. "The goal is for us to take the tests together instead of shipping saliva samples around the world. But yes, there will be one ASAP. No, Australia isn't open yet or I would have already gone so those of you saying 'just go' must not know that. We are truly on different continents, so easier said than done."

"Why am I sharing on Insta?" Jean-Luc continued. "Because it's the only way I have to set the record straight about me not wanting to be involved if the baby is mine." He went on to say that Dani blocked him on Instagram in December, and suggested he had not spoken to her since.
