The British actor insists he hasn't been let go as a judge on the televised ice skating show despite allegations that he exposed himself on the set of 'Doctor Who'.

AceShowbiz - John Barrowman's agent has denied the star has been axed from the judging panel of ice skating TV show "Dancing on Ice".

The star joined the panel in 2020 as a replacement for outgoing judge Jason Gardiner, but hit headlines earlier this month (May21) following allegations he repeatedly exposed himself on the sets of BBC's "Doctor Who" and spin-off "Torchwood".

While Barrowman has apologised for his behaviour and defended his actions as "high-spirited behaviour and tomfoolery," insiders tell The Sun newspaper bosses at the ITV show have parted ways with the star in a bid to protect their family-friendly image.

Sources say, "Ever since allegations against John came to light, discussions have been ongoing over his future on the panel of Dancing on Ice."

"But the feeling now is there is no way we can invite him back. ITV has shown they are prepared to act decisively when stars are accused of inappropriate behaviour. And it seems this situation will not be the exception to the rule."

However, an ITV spokesperson has denied the claims insisting, "Any discussions regarding the 2022 series of Dancing on Ice are very premature."

And John's agent has also hit out at the reports, telling website entertainmentdaily.co.uk the information is "factually incorrect" and insisting, "As ITV has verified, no decision has been made. Engagements for Dancing on Ice are not dealt with until much later in the year."

Following the allegations, Barrowman, who was meant to reprise the role of Captain Jack Harkness in a pre-recorded piece for immersive live show "Doctor Who: Time Fracture", was removed from the slot.

In a statement, he told the Guardian newspaper, "With the benefit of hindsight, I understand that upset may have been caused by my exuberant behaviour and I have apologised for this previously."

"Since my apology in November 2008, my understanding and behaviour have also changed."
