In a new interview, the photographer also talks about the controversial scene in which he asked his 24-year-old girlfriend Rosemarie to shave her legs after they slept together for the first time.

AceShowbiz - Ed and Rosemarie's relationship on "90 Day Fiance" has gained a lot of attention for many reasons. One of them is rumor that Rose is actually engaged to another woman now, leading to a speculation that their romance never moved to the next level despite his intention to propose to her.
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Ed addresses this swirling rumor about Rose's supposed engagement to another woman. The 54-year-old admits he has "no idea" if it's true and hadn't even heard of the rumor before, but reminds fans that they should take everything with a grain of salt.
"You know, half the stuff I read online -- not like half the stuff, more like 90 percent of the stuff I read online -- is not true," he explains. "It's people grabbing information, and bits and bits of information, and they're just creating fake news. They don't know what's going on. I know what's going on in my heart."
While he doesn't give a straight answer regarding the status of their relationship, Ed says, "I'm happy, that's all I can tell you." He goes on assuring, "I'm very, very happy."
During the interview, Ed says that the 30-year age gap between him and Rose was never an issue between them. The show, however, reveals that Ed had concerns that Rose saw him as her "meal ticket." Asked if he still feels Rose is dating him for his money, he coyly answers, "We're still exploring that, at this point. At this point [in the show], I still have suspicions."
Ed also discusses the much-talked-about scene, in which he asked Rose to shave her legs after they slept together for the first time. The photographer Ed said in the episode that Rose's hairy legs "threw" him since he lives in San Diego and is used to both women and men lasering off their leg hair.
"I didn't mean to react the way I did but I was just like, 'Oh my god,' " he reacts to his own bizarre request. Ed also reveals that he actually offered to shave Rose's legs but she declined. She, in return, asked him if she could shave his beard. "We both ended up shaving ourselves and it worked out," he shares. "But I got a lot of heat for that, but that's what that was."
"90 Day Fiance" airs on Sundays on TLC at 8 P.M. ET.
