The Victoria's Secret model landed in hot water after posting on Instagram a snap of her posing with her classic Ford Mustang, saying that she's only 'starting up' the vehicle from her home.

AceShowbiz - Kendall Jenner has hit back at claims she isn't taking California's orders to self isolate seriously, after sharing a snap from her classic 1965 red Ford Mustang.

The model, 24, sparked concern after posting the snap online on Tuesday (24Mar20), but reassured her followers that she was only "starting up" the vehicle from her home.

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star insisted she was taking governor Gavin Newsom's measures "very seriously", and said that it's "not a bad idea" to get some "fresh air" during the state's lockdown, amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The comments came after a fan account shared a screenshot of Kendall's post, adding, "UHMMM NO, Stay Home," to which she hit back: "of course i'm staying home!!

"taking this quarantine v seriously... but also not a bad idea to get some fresh air as long as you keep a safe distance from others and follow all guidelines :) everyone stay healthy," she posted.

Earlier in the week, Kendall admitted she "misses" her pals amid the lockdown, but reflected: "the sooner we quarantine, the sooner we can get back to our peoples again. (sic)."

Officials from the World Health Organisation (WHO) urge people to stay home and practice social distancing amid the global health crisis, which has seen more than 423,400 cases of coronavirus confirmed worldwide, with over 18,900 deaths registered, since it began last December.
