AceShowbiz - It appears Jeffree Star is actively searching for a new boyfriend after his split from Nathan Schwandt. On Monday, March 9, the beauty influencer revealed that three basketball players had slid into his DMs in hopes that they could date Jeffree.
The YouTube star made the shocking revelation when hitting back at an online troll who said, "Jeffree Star is 6'1?? Bro was playing with the wrong balls." In response, he said, "There are currently three NBA players in my DM's right now, but thank you for the concern." Getting more classy, he added a red heart emoticon in the post.
Given that Jeffree did not name names in the post, people began speculating who the basketball players were. Among the names that people threw was Dwight Howard, who is long rumored to be gay. There were also people who thought that Blake Griffin and Jason Collins might be the one hitting on Jeffree.
Some other people, meanwhile, refused to believe what Jeffree said unless he shared the evidence. "Post proof or cap," one said. "cap cap cap cap cap said they were with it but its cap cap cap," another commented. One more individual urged the makeup mogul, "Screen shots or didn’t happen."
Jeffree was previously in a longterm relationship with Nathan. He announced their split back in January, saying on Twitter, "The hardest part has been waking up and he's not laying next to me anymore.. But I'm a tough bitch and 2020 is going to be my year." He also uploaded a video titled "We Broke Up", in which he explained how his five-year romance ended.
"We were both so busy being there for each other that we forgot to be here for ourselves, and that's what 2020 is -- focusing on ourselves," he explained, adding that fame was also one of the reasons why they broke up. "My life is so public and I think it just got to a breaking point where it just wasn't healthy."
