AceShowbiz - Gwyneth Paltrow released her vagina-scented candle to take the "shame" out of women's private parts.
The actress and a fragrance expert pal came up with the quirky Goop candle, This Smells Like My Vagina, as a joke, but the Oscar winner admits there is a very serious idea behind the fun flamer.
Speaking to John Legend as he guest hosted the Valentine's Day (February 14) episode of "The Ellen DeGeneres Show" on Friday, Gwyneth said, "It was really like a feminist statement... It's the idea that women have been taught to have a certain degree of shame or embarrassment about their body... and so, if you just light a candle that says This Smells Like My Vagina, and put it on the coffee table, it's a little bit of a punk rock statement."
The candle, which actually features notes of geranium, cedar and bergamot, sold out when it went on sale in mid-January.
