AceShowbiz - People might remember the time when Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid were among the sweetest couples in Hollywood in the early of 1990s. The two even welcomed a newest addition to their happy family with the birth of their son Jack in 1992. However, the happy moment stopped when Meg met Russell Crowe in 2000 on the set of "Proof of Life".
Meg and Dennis eventually got divorced which was finalized in 2001. Most people blamed her and her affair with Russell for the end of her and Dennis' 9-year marriage, but Meg claimed that the latter's serial philandering was the true culprit. "Russell didn't break up the marriage. He was definitely there at the end, but it wasn't his fault," she said. At the end, Meg and Russell didn't proceed with their romance. She was engaged to John Mellencamp before calling it off in November 2019.
