AceShowbiz - Cardi B turned a courthouse into her catwalk as she attended a hearing for her 2018 assault case in a jaw-dropping outfit. Refusing to tone down her glamorous style, the 27-year-old star made a dramatic entrance at the Queens Criminal Court on Tuesday afternoon, December 10 in a larger-than-life coat by Adrienne Landau that featured full feathers, a long train and towering hood.

She also wore a white button-up shirt, a black tie and pants underneath the coat, as she completed her look with Louis Vuitton boots and black stockings. While the Bronx femcee walked nonchalantly amid the flashes from photographers' cameras, her bodyguards were seen making sure that no one stepped on her coat's train while she made her way into the courthouse.

While many were in awe of her high-end fashion, not a few were appalled by her over-the-top fashion for her court appearance. Commenting on an Instagram video showing her arrival at the court, one wrote, "Court isn't a fashion show a mess." Another claimed the "I Like It" hitmaker was "doing to (sic) much."

"Wtf is she wearing," another baffled user commented. Another took issue with her feathered coat, which may also upset PETA, as writing, "Bruh she dragging a whole animal carcass on her back." Someone else commented, "Imagine looking up to this scallywag."

Cardi is accused of ordering an attack on two bartenders, sisters Jade and Baddie Gi, at a strip club in Queens last year. It was reported that the beef stemmed from the rapper's belief that Jade slept with her husband Offset.

In June of this year, Cardi pleaded not guilty to all 14 charges, including two counts of felony assault with intent to cause serious physical injury. Her next court date is set for January 2020.
