Hours after the incident at the Piccadilly Theatre, Wendell Pierce, the star of the West End show, takes to Twitter to apologize to theater-goers and thank them for safely evacuating.

AceShowbiz - A performance of Arthur Miller's "Death of a Salesman" in London's West End came to an abrupt halt on Wednesday night, November 06 when a part of the theatre's ceiling collapsed.
The audience watching the play at the Piccadilly Theatre were evacuated as police and emergency service officials arrived at the scene.
"Everyone is out of the theatre. A few people have suffered minor injuries," a police statement reads.
The show's star, Wendell Pierce, took to Twitter hours later and told theatre fans, "I did not mean for it to go like this. I'd like to thank you all for safely evacuating. We apologize and we're glad that no-one's hurt."
