In order to prevent any plot leaks, the director Cary Joji Fukunaga has shot multiple alternate endings for the upcoming 25th installment of the James Bond franchise.

AceShowbiz - Three alternate endings have apparently been shot for the upcoming James Bond flick "No Time to Die" in a bid to avoid plot leaks.

The movie is rumoured to be Daniel Craig's last outing as 007, but even he's in the dark about how his stint in the hit British spy drama franchise ends, as director Cary Joji Fukunaga - who took over the project from Danny Boyle - is believed to be the only one who knows which of the three finales will make the final cut.

An insider told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "Everyone's in the dark, the secrecy is off the chart."

One alleged ending sees Bond apparently quit the secret service for a "tranquil life in Jamaica," paving the way for a much anticipated female incarnation of the iconic character, with British actress Lashana Lynch being awarded the prestigious title.

Craig has appeared in five Bond movies, beginning with his debut in 2006's "Casino Royale", and filming for the latest caper wrapped in Matera, southern Italy late last month.

"No Time to Die" debuts in cinemas April 3, 2020.
