The 'Underworld' director has been announced to take the helm of the upcoming spin-off that revolves around a character briefly introduced in the third movie.

AceShowbiz - "Underworld" director Len Wiseman has signed on to take charge of "John Wick" spin-off "Ballerina".
The film, centred on a female assassin seeking revenge against the people who killed her family, has been written by Shay Hatten, whose credits include "John Wick: Chapter 3 - Parabellum".
"John Wick" star Keanu Reeves and director Chad Stahelski will be among the producers of the new film, according to Deadline.
The "Ballerina" character featured briefly in the latest John Wick film - she was portrayed by Unity Phelan. It is not clear if she will star in the new film, or if it will feature Reeves.
