AceShowbiz - DeMarcus Cousins can't celebrate his newlyweds life in peace as he is now facing serious allegations. His ex-girlfriend and baby mama, Christy West, filed a police report against the L.A. Lakers star and alleged that he threatened to kill him if she didn't let their child come to his wedding.

TMZ obtained an audio clip of his threat. One man could be heard telling West, "I'm gonna ask you this one more time before I take it to another level. Can I have my son here?" But West was adamant of prohibiting their son from attending the nuptials as she replied, "No, he's not coming." This prompted the man to respond, "I'm gonna make sure I put a bullet in your f***ing head."

It's unclear whether or not the man in the clip was Cousins. The Mobile Police Department is currently investigating the allegation.

Meanwhile, both L.A. Lakers and the NBA have released statements regarding the issue. "We are aware of the allegation involving DeMarcus Cousins and, of course, take the claim seriously. We are in the process of gathering information and will reserve further comment at this time," a spokesperson for the basketball team said in the statement, meanwhile the basketball association's statement read, "We are aware of the report regarding DeMarcus Cousins and are investigating the allegations."

Cousins married his longtime girlfriend, Morgan Lang, on Saturday, August 24 in a lavish ceremony at the St. Regis Atlanta in Georgia. "The entire event was amazing from TOP to Bottom... Literally," the couple told PEOPLE of their wedding.

Guests at the nuptials included his former Golden State Warriors teammates Draymond Green, Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston as well as his Lakers teammates Anthony Davis and Quinn Cook. They were treated to food catered by the St. Regis and a delicious cake by Jullie Miller Cake Design. Meanwhile, Trey Daniels Music and DJ Franzen provided the entertainment.
