AceShowbiz - Amy Winehouse's ex husband Blake Fielder-Civil has reportedly filed a $1.2 million (£1million) claim for a stake in the late star's fortune.

Blake, who admitted to introducing the "Rehab" hitmaker to heroin, is seeking a lump sum and an allowance from the singer's estate, according to reports.

Amy, who died aged 27 of alcohol poisoning in July 2011, hadn't written a will, and her $3.6 million (£2.9 million) estate went to her mother Janis, 63, and father Mitch, 68.

The "Back to Black" hitmaker was married to Blake for two years, but they divorced in July 2009, and Amy gave her ex a $308,415 (£250,000) pay-off at the time. But lawyers are now saying the wording of the settlement could mean Blake is entitled to more cash, as it was not labelled as a 'final settlement'.

A source close to the Winehouse family told Britain's The Sun newspaper: "This is someone who spent a lot of Amy's money during their time together."

"He also spent a lot of their marriage in prison, bringing nothing but pain to everyone," they continued. "To give him another penny would be too much. Blake is an utter scumbag. It is unbelievable that he is trying to tap into her estate and make a claim for money."
