The 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians' star and her partners at Kylie Cosmetics are being sued by Sheree Cosmetics bosses over her Born to Sparkle collection in New York.

AceShowbiz - Kylie Jenner's request to fight a legal battle over her Born to Sparkle cosmetics collection in California has been granted.
Sheree Cosmetics bosses claim the 21-year-old beauty mogul and her partners at Kylie Cosmetics stole their ideas and branding for the line, which was released to mark her birthday in August (2018), alleging it features similar colours and packaging to theirs.
They sued her in New York federal for trademark infringement, false endorsement and unfair competition last October (2018), but Kylie's lawyers responded by asking the court to dismiss the case or move proceedings to California, where the billionaire reality star's firm is based.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, U.S. District Judge Valerie Caproni granted Kylie's motion to move the matter to her home state on Friday, July 19.
The judge found that the alleged infringement would have taken place in California, where the labels were affixed, and that the move made sense for practical reasons - as the evidence and witnesses are based there.
However, Judge Caproni declined to rule on the motion to dismiss the case, because Sheree chiefs have sought leave to amend their complaint - therefore a ruling should be left to a California judge.
