AceShowbiz - Music veteran Jessi Colter has recruited rising country star Margo Price to produce her next album.
The "I'm Not Lisa" singer took to Instagram over the weekend, May 11-12, to share a series of black-and-white photos of the new collaborators in the studio together, and revealed Price had been a real joy to work with.
"@missmargoprice & I recorded last week ..she's the bomb producer & her band defied gravity...it was a dance," Colter captioned the images. "we did my original recent songs ...with whole new sound...more news to come".
Margo, who is heavily pregnant with her second child, also shared the shots on her Twitter page and gushed about the experience.
"I spent the entire past week producing an incredible new album for the OG (original gangster) Queen of 'Outlaw' Country, @Jessi_Colter!" she tweeted. "Her songs, playing and voice are as strong as ever. I can't wait for y'all to hear this record!"
Colter's new project will serve as the follow-up to 2017's "The Psalms".
