AceShowbiz - Kandi Burruss' husband Todd Tucker has landed himself in trouble because of his words. He has been suspended from "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" for slamming the show before it aired "Reunion Part 3" on Sunday, April 21.
Appearing in a YouTube video with his wife, Todd can be heard saying, "This last season was trash." He went on adding that he didn't like the season because he thought that the Housewives "let Nene [Leakes] off too easy."
According to MTO News, all of "RHOA" cast and their husbands signed a "non-disparagement" clause in their contracts, which blocks the stars from criticizing the show or its creators publicly. A Bravo executive tells the site that what Todd did clearly violated the contract.
Sources claim that the network is furious with Todd. A so-called top executive of the network tells the site, "Todd will be suspended for the beginning of next season. He's definitely going to be on the bench." It's not clear how long Todd, who is a former line producer for the hit reality TV series himself, will be sitting out of the show.
Kandi and Todd began dating in 2011, while filming the fourth season of "RHOA". The couple got married in April 2014 and welcomed their first child together, a son named Ace Wells Tucker, on January 6, 2016.
Kandi also has a daughter named Riley Burruss, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Russell "Block" Spencer of Block Entertainment. As for Todd, he also has a daughter named Kaela Tucker from a past relationship.
The pair recently teamed up to troll 16-year-old Riley for showing some skin in a mini dress. "What do you have on mam?...," Kandi wrote on her daughter's Instagram post, to which Riley replied with two laughing emojis and a crying emoji. Todd then chimed in, telling Riley to "take that off!"
