AceShowbiz - Leaving their rocky marriage behind them, Cardi B and Offset have come together to show off their undeniable chemistry in the music video for their new collaboration "Clout". Released on April 17 as promised, the steamy visuals was directed by Danielle Russell while the Migos member served as the creative director.
Decked in black-and-yellow background, the clip opens with a masked Offset playing a piano before destroying a cake with a chainsaw. Things take to a sultry turn after Cardi, who's clad in a black leather-and-fishnet ensemble, makes her appearance. She is seen grinding on her rapper husband and gives him a lap dance, giving the viewers an eyeful of her butt. As for Offset, he openly grabs her booty in front of the camera.
There is also a scene of the "Bodak Yellow" hitmaker buried in lemons as she continues delivering her verse. "Everybody wanna be this, if I was you, I'd hate me b***h," she raps. "Read my rhymes, n***a, suck my d**k/ All of that talk and I'm calling it out/ Public opinions from private accounts/ You not a check, then you gotta bounce."
"Clout" appears on Offset's debut solo album "Father of 4", which also includes features from J. Cole, Travis Scott (II) and 21 Savage. The song additionally marks the fifth time the married couple has collaborated, following "Who Want the Smoke?", "Drip", "MotorSport" and "Lick". Cardi and Offset delivered first performance of "Clout" when the former made a surprise appearance during his set at REVOLVE Festival on Sunday, April 14.
Sporting a multicolored Louis Vuitton cape jacket as well as blue-and-purple hair with bunches styled into cute bows, the "Bartier Cardi" femcee danced with her husband throughout their lively performance. Flaunting their affection toward each other, the lovebirds paused their rendition halfway for a kiss.
