Agencies behind the actors have confirmed that the stars are indeed dating after they were spotted together on a late-night date.

Moment Entertainment, which managed Kim Bo Ra, stated in a statement, "After checking with [Kim Bo Ra], we learned that she began dating Jo Byung Gyu at the beginning of this month." Similarly, the agency behind Jo Byung Gyu, HB Entertainment, confirmed, "He began dating Kim Bo Ra at the beginning of February."

Kim Bo Ra doubled down on the confirmation by issuing her own statement, thanking her fans for the support and encouragement. "Hello, this is Kim Bo Ra. I'm truly sorry to have surprised you so early in the morning," she said. "I saw the reports after I received a phone call from my agency's director. As soon as I saw them, I could only think about how to tell the story to my fans. I apologize for startling my fans who have been supporting me for the past 15 years."

Detailing her relationship with the South Korean heartthrob, she revealed that they "became close colleagues through the drama." She added, "We naturally developed feelings for each other while keeping in contact after the drama, and we started dating at the beginning of February."

Kim Bo Ra and Jo Byung Gyu have previously denied their dating rumors when appearing together on "Happy Together", with the latter explaining that it had arisen after behind-the-scenes footage from "SKY Castle" showed their affectionate moment. However, he insisted that they weren't dating. Their fellow co-star, Kim Hye Yon, also stated that the dating report wasn't true.
