After getting mom-shamed for sharing a photo of her 6-year-old daughter's 'first highlights,' the former 'Bachelor' star says she 'knew it would trigger the trolls.'

AceShowbiz - Amanda Stanton has received backlash for sharing a picture of her 6-year-old daughter Kinsley whose hair was newly highlighted, but she doesn't appear to regret it even a bit. In fact, "The Bachelor" alum intentionally put out the photo to piss off Internet trolls.

The 28-year-old former reality TV star took it to her Instagram Stories to hit back at those critics. "Confession: When I posted the poll about getting Kins hair (HARDLY) highlighted, I knew it would trigger the trolls. But I did it anyway...so in a way I was trolling the trolls!" she clapped back.

Acknowledging people's mixed reactions, she continued sharing, "Of course I got some messages saying she's too young etc. ... but I got a lot more saying 'I'm so glad you let her and didn't care what anyone negative had to say.' So, moral of the story is not everyone is going to agree with everything you do...& that's okay! We all are entitled to our own decisions and opinions and thoughts on parenting etc and not everyone is going to agree with you and that's OKAY."

Amanda previously posted a photo showing her daughter Kinsley's new highlights. "babe's first highlights," she captioned it.

Those who don't agree with her decision to let her daughter dye her hair slam her action, with one writing on the comment section, "So terribly sad. Why on earth would you do that?! You should be teaching your girls how beautiful they are inside and not that looks aren’t everything. Setting a bad example and setting them up for so much insecurity."

Another reacted, "Oy don't have them grow up so fast. You won't think it's so cute when she's pregnany at 14." Someone else pointed up that Amanda also put makeup on her young daughter, "And makeup? You kidding me?"

Others, however, came to Amanda's defense and hit back at those mom-shaming trolls. "So what, her daughter got highlights ... kids who come from nurturing, loving homes end up on top," one argued. "A couple harmless highlights certainly aren't going to shape her daughter into some evil monster. Mean nasty, judging comments on social media from key board warriors surely set good parenting standards kids can look up to. Shame on everyone whose judging you and being mean! Your daughters are both beautiful and are so lucky to have a mama whose present in their life and sharing in moments with them."

"im so disturbed by how ridiculous all of these comments are," another commented. "its all for fun and its totally harmless. its just a bit of hair color @amanda_stantonn is not endangering her child in any way. i cant believe how awful people can be and how judgemental. i have a daughter and if she would like a few highlights then i dont see a problem with it. it doesnt make you a bad parent if you let your child get her hair done."

Amanda appeared in season 20 of "The Bachelor" starring Ben Higgins. She got engaged to Josh Murray after appearing on "Bachelor in Paradise" in 2016, but split up later in the same year. She was engaged to Robby Hayes after meeting on "BIP" season 3 in 2017. She is now dating volleyball player Bobby Jacobs. The blonde beauty has two children, Kinsley and 5-year-old Charlie from his marriage to ex-husband Nick Buonfiglio.
