The daughter of Michael Jackson allegedly decides that she needs to 'take some time off to reboot, realign and prioritize her physical and emotional health' after a busy year.

AceShowbiz - Paris Jackson is seeking professional treatment for her health. It has been reported that the 20-year-old model and actress has checked herself into an undisclosed facility in an effort to improve her "physical and emotional health."

According to a source close to the daughter of Michael Jackson, she "decided that she needed to take some time off to reboot, realign and prioritize her physical and emotional health" after "a busy year of work engagements that took her all over the globe." The source added, "She checked herself into a treatment facility to aid in her wellness plan and is looking forward to coming out of this revitalized and ready to tackle the exciting new projects that await her."

Should the report be true, it explains why the "Gringo" actress suddenly stopped sharing photos on social media since December. In addition, Paris didn't appear to join her family for a vacation to Tokyo, Japan over the holidays. The movement was certainly raising eyebrows as she is known to be very close to her brothers.

Paris has been open about her battle with depression and anxiety in the past. In a previous interview with Rolling Stone, the IMG Model talent revealed that she tried to take her own life multiple times due to his mental health. "It was just self-hatred, low self-esteem, thinking that I couldn't do anything right, not thinking I was worthy of living anymore," she said, explaining that she took 20 Motrin tablets and slashed her wrist.

"I was crazy," she added, recalling that time when she was only 13 years old. "I was actually crazy. I was going through a lot of, like teen, angst. And I was also dealing with my depression and my anxiety without any help." Paris eventually attended a residential therapy program after that.
