Admitting he was wrong for calling out Dwayne Johnson for trading wrestling with Hollywood, the 'Blockers' actor claims to have personally apologized to the 'Skyscraper' star.

AceShowbiz - Action man John Cena has apologised to Dwayne Johnson for turning his back on wrestling to chase his Hollywood dreams after accepting he's doing the same thing.

The "Trainwreck" and "Blockers" star, who will be seen in the upcoming "Bumblebee" blockbuster, admits he feels like a hypocrite after signing out Johnson, aka The Rock, when he decided to leave the ring for the lights of Tinseltown.

"I owe a lot of what I've done in WWE (World Wresting Entertainment) and in cinema to Dwayne Johnson," John tells Canadian TV and radio personality Chris Van Vliet. "He's always been genuine, he's always shot straight - and that's on TV and off TV."

"We have a very good rapport with each other and I can... I've told this to him that I'm sorry... I spoke out of ignorance, I was wrong, and I'm sorry."

"So, for any WWE person right now saying, 'You're a part timer, you're going to Hollywood...', you're absolutely right. And if they can't see why I'm making those moves, I don't expect them to. I don't expect to change their mind."

Cena has enjoyed playing a series of good guys on the big screen, but now he's looking for a more evil role: "There are creative feelings inside me that would like to be a bad guy."
