AceShowbiz - Quentin Tarantino is finally a married man! The 55-year-old director and actor and his longtime girlfriend Daniella Pick tied the knot in a private ceremony on Wednesday night, November 28, just days after he wrapped filming "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood".

In a photo obtained by PEOPLE, the newlyweds posed in front of a dramatic wall of white flowers as Tarantino, who looked dapper in black suit, wrapped his arm around his wife, while the other hand held her hand. Opting for traditional white wedding gown, Pick sported a beautiful Dana Harel gown with a sweetheart neckline, a white veil and tiara.

According to E! News, the ceremony, which was only attended by friends and family, took place at a private Los Angeles home and planned with the help from Events by Shideh. Tarantino and Pick are expected to celebrate the nuptials at a larger gathering later in the day.

Tarantino first met Pick, who is the daughter of Israeli singer and songwriter Tzvika Pick, in 2009 while promoting his film "Inglourious Basterds". The couple had an on-and-off relationship until he proposed in Los Angeles in summer last year.

This marks the first marriage for Tarantino, who previously opened up about how his work monopolizes his time to date and get hitched. "Here's the thing. When I'm doing a movie, I'm not doing anything else. It's all about the movie. I don't have a wife. I don't have a kid. Nothing can get in my way," he said in an interview.

"All you concerns, all the mundane things, family, any of that, it just pfft disappears. Goes away. It's mist. It's just nothing but the mountain, every single solitary day," he continued. "I'm not saying that I'll never get married or have kids before I'm 60. But I've made a choice, so far, to go on this road alone. Because this is my time. This is my time to make movies."
