The music video for their debut song becomes the most-viewed K-Pop group debut video on YouTube, while their album becomes the highest-selling debut album for a girl group.

AceShowbiz - New K-Pop girl group IZ*ONE is already taking the industry by storm with their arrival. The twelve-piece group has broken several records after unleashing their debut EP "COLOR*IZ" as well as music video for lead single "La Vie en Rose" on Monday, October 29.

The music video itself is your typical K-Pop music video, where the girls are seen showcasing their choreography. There are also scenes of each member belting out their part in the respective setting, with center Jang Won Young sitting on stairs while delivering her verse. Meanwhile, Miyawaki Sakura is shown sitting on the floor with a single rose in her hands.

The visuals has garnered 4,276,000 views on YouTube within a day of release, marking the most-viewed K-Pop group debut music video. The record was previously held by Stray Kids with their "District 9" music video, which earned 4,274,649 views in its first day of release.

Not only music video, but the group also became the girl group with the highest-selling debut album sales. According to Hanteo chart, "COLOR*IZ" sold over 34,000 units in its first day, surpassing BLACKPINK's "Square Up" which racked up 19,094 in its first day. It also topped iTunes Top Albums charts in eight countries such as Indonesia, Japan, Singapore and Thailand.

Their lead single, "La Vie end Rose", also performed well on domestic music charts, debuting at No. 2 on Bugs, Naver and Soribada. On the other hand, it peaked at No. 4 on Mnet, Genie and Olleh.

IZ*ONE is the third group that was formed through South Korean's popular "Produce" series, following I.O.I and Wanna One. The group consists of nine Korean members and three Japanese members, Sakura, Yabuki Nako and Honda Hitomi. Before making their debut with IZ*ONE, the three are already members of popular Japanese girl group AKB48.

Unlike the previous groups who only last for a year and a half, IZ*ONE is set to stay together for two and half years.
