AceShowbiz - Tekashi69 a.k.a. 6ix9ine just can't stay away from trouble. Just two hours after receiving his sentence for child sex case, he found himself at the center of a violent event which took place at a party held after his court hearing on Friday, October 26.
According to TMZ which first reported the news, gunfire erupted during the celebration which took place at a restaurant in midtown NYC. The rapper was reportedly meeting a 10k Projects Records exec when a bodyguard turned away a member of Tekashi's entourage, prompting an argument.
During the back-and-forth, a third party reportedly approached them and fired four shots. It was initially reported that Tekashi's bodyguard was shot in the stomach and was taken to the hospital. The site further reported that the suspect was shot by a retired police officer who was nearby when the gunfire broke out.
The NYPD, however, debunked the claim that it was Tekashi's bodyguard who was shot and assured that the victim is in stable condition. In a statement released to HollywoodLife.com, police said, "It was not Tekashi's bodyguard that was shot. A male was shot, not likely to die."
"There was a private event going on at the location [Philippe Chow]," the statement continued. "Two males were trying to push their way into the private event and the security guard for the restaurant tried to prevent the individuals from entering the event. They got into an argument and the security guard pulled a firearm and shot one of the individuals, but the person is not likely to die. The person is likely to survive."

Earlier Friday, Tekashi was sentenced to four years of probation in his child sex case. He pleaded guilty to one count of Use of a Child in a Sexual Performance back in 2015, after he was caught on camera fooling around while a naked 13-year-old girl engaged in a sex act with another man at a party. The video was later distributed online. Tekashi, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, claimed to have "no sexual contact" with the girl and denied knowing she was a minor in 2017.
Prior to the Friday court hearing, the Manhattan district attorney's office announced Tekashi could face up to three years in prison and possible sex offender registration for the case. He, however, was eventually sentenced to 1,000 hours of community service in addition to the probation.
