It is reported that director Julie Taymor plans for the leading lady of 'The Danish Girl' to portray the feminist icon from the age of 20 to 40 in the upcoming biopic.
Alicia Vikander is in talks to join fellow Oscar winner Julianne Moore in a new movie about feminist icon Gloria Steinem.
Director Julie Taymor has already recruited Moore to play Steinem in "My Life on the Road", and now she's hoping "The Danish Girl" star will take on the character from 20 to 40.
The film is based on the activist's memoir, which was adapted by Taymor and playwright Sarah Ruhl.
The director is also hoping to find two more young actresses to play Steinem as a teenager and a child.
Steinem will executive produce alongside Amy Richards.
