The summery song finds the Danish singer recalling memories that she shares with a lover during the summertime.

AceShowbiz - Diplo is aiming for the charts' top slots with another MO collaboration. Years after unleashing their mega hit songs "Lean On" and "Cold Water", the two musicians premiered a new song entitled "Sun in Our Eyes" on Thursday, July 12.

Easily considered as a new summer anthem, the song finds the Danish singer recalling memories that she shares with a lover during the summertime. "I can see your face from miles and miles away/ But heaven knows it's gonna fade, heaven knows it's gonna fade," she sings. "I'm not done searching for answers, anyway/ But through your hands you make me tremble, make me crush/ Forget my name."

"Sun in Our Eyes" is the lead single off MO's forthcoming album "Forever Neverland", which is set for an October 19 release. Speaking about their new collaboration, she explained in a statement, "We both loved 'Sun in Our Eyes' from the beginning and what makes it special to me is that it's a combination of the two ingredients I'm always craving in music: uplifting and melancholy vibes."

The 29-year-old songstress also gushed over her longtime collaborator, saying, "One of the many reasons I love working with him is because I always feel like it's a free and creative process and I always like the end product." Diplo then added, "Karen [MO's real name] and I have some special chemistry in the studio. Whenever we work together we always write three or four songs in a day, and every time we get better. I think 'Sun in Our Eyes' is the best song we've ever written together."

Diplo and MO first joined forces on "XXX 88" off her 2013 debut album "No Mythologies to Follow". Their biggest hits were with his EDM trio Major Lazer, "Lean On" featuring DJ Snake and "Cold Water" featuring Justin Bieber.
