The My Big Fat Greek Wedding star has been spotted in Antiparos, Greece days after taking the first steps to legally end her marriage to Ian Gomez.
The couple split last summer (17) and Vardalos recently confirmed that she and her estranged husband were now more like friends than lovers.
Vardalos and Gomez wed in 1993 and their courtship inspired her hit 2002 movie, My Big Fat Greek Wedding.
The actress is seeking joint legal and physical custody of the couple's 11-year-old adopted daughter, Ilaria, who joined mum for her trip to Greece.
