AceShowbiz - Paul McCartney's recent Liverpool pub gig will feature as part of a Carpool Karaoke segment on comedian James Corden's The Late Late Show with James Corden when the U.S. programme visits the U.K. next week, beg June 18.
The Beatles star and Corden were spotted driving around the city in a Range Rover last week, suggesting Macca will be the host's next celebrity guest on the sing-along segment of his U.S. talk show.
And now the truth has been revealed - McCartney will give Corden's viewers a tour of his native Liverpool during a Carpool Karaoke special.
The Maybe I'm Amazed singer also thrilled locals at the Philharmonic pub during his trip around the city, by popping in to sing a few songs.
Corden has posted a photo of himself and Macca hugging in front of the Range Rover they used for their trip around Liverpool on Twitter, adding the caption: "I can't wait for you all to see this. It was a day that will live with me forever".
James will host shows from Central Hall Westminster in London next week, and his guests will include Damian Lewis, J.J. Abrams, Cher, Cate Blanchett, Orlando Bloom, Niall Horan, and Foo Fighters, while Andrew Lloyd Webber will participate in a new Crosswalk the Musical segment, during which celebrities dress up and perform show tunes in the street.
