AceShowbiz - Lisa Vanderpump is mourning the death of her brother. Mark Vanderpump, who worked as a DJ, was found dead after a suspected drug overdose at his home in Gloucestershire, England on April 30, Daily Mail first reported the news. He was 59.
It is unknown whether the reported overdose was accidental or deliberate. Lisa has not posted anything on social media since April 30, the reported day of Mark's death. Sources said she was heading to the U.K. for her brother's funeral.
In a statement released to the news outlet after news of her brother's death broke, Lisa said, "This has come as a shock to us all. My brother and I had connected the day before this tragedy and I was completely unprepared for this. He was my only sibling and I am shocked and saddened by his passing."
"I am trying to be supportive to his two young sons that he has left behind, and help them get through this tragedy," she continued, "We appreciate your consideration in this private and extremely difficult family time."
"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star and her brother Mark are known for having a close relationship. The 57-year-old reality TV star and her brother often went on vacations together and he was a regular visitor to her Los Angeles restaurants Sur, Villa Blanca and PUMP.
Back in January, Mark posted a photo with Lisa. "Here with my gorgeous sister @LisaVanderpump celebrating her successes @pumprestaurant love you," he captioned it. He was featured on the British reality show "Gold Diggers and Proud".

In the same month, the siblings were reported having an explosive argument while dining at NYC's The Waverly Inn. "Lisa and her husband Ken and daughter Pandora were eating dinner with her brother Mark and a few others," a fellow guest at the restaurant told Radar Online. "They were all obviously really upset. Lisa and her brother were shouting at each other so that the entire restaurant could hear!"
