The 'Uncontrollably Fond' actor looks thinner but still smiles while accepting gifts from fans at what looks like an airport.

AceShowbiz - First look at Kim Woo Bin since he was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal cancer has allegedly surfaced online. The actor has taken a break from his career to receive treatment for his cancer since May, but now a video and some pictures have possibly revealed his condition.
In the fan-taken clip and photos, the "Uncontrollably Fond" star sported a white-and-blue striped shirt at what looked like an airport. He looked pale and thinner than before, but still smiled and waved to fans as he accepted gifts and flowers from them.
Turns out that the video and pictures were taken some time ago, in late 2017. It marked his first appearance in public since he announced his cancer diagnosis in May last year.
Kim Woo Bin gave an update on his condition in December 2017, posting a handwritten letter on his official fan cafe. "I wanted to let everyone know sooner, but I've been so occupied with receiving treatment and taking care of my body that a total of 7 months have passed," he wrote.
"Thanks to all of your support and prayers, I have successfully completed 3 chemotherapy sessions in addition to undergoing radiation therapy a total of 35 times," he added. The 28-year-old actor said that "he's gradually recovering after safely receiving treatment and going for follow-up testing."
He continued, "I've also been taking strolls from time to time and eating meals on a regular basis, and I feel that I'm gradually getting better. However, I think it will take some more time for me to greet you all. ... Through this opportunity, I will take extra care of my health and work hard to only deliver good news."
Due to his health issue, Kim Woo Bin was officially exempt from military service in January this year. His label SidusHQ said in a statement, "After Kim Woo Bin was diagnosed with nasopharyngeal cancer last May, he received his military enlistment draft notice from the Military Manpower Administration not long after he finished his chemotherapy treatments. He went in for another physical examination, and was judged as Grade 6, unable to enlist."
Kim Woo Bin last starred on KBS' drama series "Uncontrollably Fond" alongside Suzy.
