The 'Hotline Bling' hitmaker announces the good news to his Instagram followers, sharing a picture of himself donning a jacket with the words, 'Scorpion,' 'June 2018' and 'by Drake' written on it.

AceShowbiz - Rejoice, Drake fans! The rapper has confirmed that he will be releasing a new album titled "Scorpion" very soon. Taking to Instagram on Monday, April 16, he revealed that the album would make its way out in June.
Along with a picture of himself standing with his back to the camera, he simply wrote, "JUNE 2018." The picture itself showed him wearing a jacket with the words, "Scorpion," "June 2018" and "by Drake" written on it.
Drake then followed it up with a picture of a gold pendant with the image of a scorpion. He wrote the same thing in the caption of the picture.
Fans are sure overjoyed following the album announcement, with many writing that they can't wait for its release. Some others, meanwhile, speculate the title of the album is a reference to the Scorpio, which is Drake's astrological sign since he was born on October 24.
"I can't wait to hear every track on your new album," one fan writes in the comment section. "I know for a fact it's gonna be straight fire." One other comments, "This makes me so happy that his album is dropping peak summer and when I'm in dubz!" Another notes that he/she should "get some speakers."
It remains to be seen whether "God's Plan" and "Diplomatic Immunity" will be included in the forthcoming album, as the songs have already been included in his second EP "Scary Hours".
"Scorpion" will be the rapper's fifth studio album and a follow-up to his 2016 album "Views". The 20-track effort debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 1.04 million album units. It was also nominated for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album at the 2017 Grammy Awards.
