AceShowbiz - Congratulations are in order for John Stamos and wife Caitlin McHugh. The pair announced on Sunday, April 15 that they welcomed their first child together. The baby boy was named Billy Stamos after the "Fuller House" star's late father.

The 54-year-old actor shared on his Instagram account a black-and-white photo of little Billy lying down on his stomach. "From now on, the best part of me will always be my wife and my son. Welcome Billy Stamos (named after my father)," so he wrote in the caption. John concluded his post with #NotJustanUncleAnymore and #Overjoyed hashtags, referencing to his character as Uncle Jesse on the sitcom.

John and his 32-year-old wife announced that they were expecting their first child back in December. It was only two months after the actor popped the question to Caitlin at Disneyland, a place which is deemed special for both of them.

Lara Spencer shared some details about the romantic proposal, saying that John "put together some of the most romantic moments from Disney and Pixar animation [in a video]." She continued revealing on "Good Morning America", "Then he ended it with Sebastian from 'The Little Mermaid' saying, 'Just ask the girl' to John."

John and Caitlin tied the knot in February at the Little Brown Church in Studio City, California, after being together since 2016. John and Caitlin, who wore her beach-wavy hair swept to the side, "exchanged wows in front of family and close friends," a source dished on the nuptials. "It was a very touching ceremony," the insider pointed out. "There were tears, but mostly smiles. John and Caitlin looked very happy." It's unclear how many people were attending the wedding or if any celebrity guests were invited.

The pair had an unexpected moment though, before walking down the aisle. The Beverly Hills Police Department confirmed that Caitlin's hotel room at the Beverly Hills Hotel was burglarized on the day before their wedding, and the thief made off with the $165,000-worth jewelry she was going to wear for her big day.
