Beyonce Knowles is scheduled to make a stage comeback at the 2018 Coachella in April. Rumor has it, the songstress will bring husband Jay-Z to the stage to give fans a taste of their highly-anticipated joint tour "On the Run II".

According to HollywoodLife.com, Jay is the one who comes up with the idea. "Jay would like to warm up for their next tour with a secret, surprise performance with Beyonce at Coachella," a source close to the couple tells the webloid, adding that the rapper "thinks it would be a great way to help hype and promote their upcoming tour."

"Jay loves Coachella and he and Beyonce are super excited about doing the show in the desert," the insider continues. "They are also both really excited about the upcoming world tour. It brought them closer together as a couple last time they toured together and Beyonce loves having the whole family on the road. They are looking forward to all the fun and the hard work involved too."

Beyonce announced their joint tour to her Instagram followers, sharing a black-and-white picture of the couple riding a motorbike together. She also shared a 45-second teaser clip for the tour. Set to Sean Paul's "I'm Still in Love with You", the clip featured the couple performing together and cuddling onstage. There was also home video footage of Beyonce and Jay.

"On the Run II" will kick off on June 6 at Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales and will stop in 15 cities across the U.K. and Europe in addition to 21 cities in North America. The couple, who tied the knot in 2008, is set to wrap up the 36-date trek on October 2 at BC Place in Vancouver.

Pre-sale tickets for the tour went on sale on March 14 at 9 A.M. PST. Meanwhile, tickets will go on sale to the general public starting from March 19.
