In a recent interview, the British songstress reveals that Taylor fans send her 'snake emojis for, like, three days straight,' and tell her to die.

AceShowbiz - Dua Lipa appears to be dealing with some scary Taylor Swift fans. In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the British songstress revealed that she received death threats after an old interview of her "choosing" Kanye West over Taylor in a game resurfaced online.

"They were sending me snake emojis for, like, three days straight," she told the publication. "They're like, 'I hope you die.' I'm like, 'Yo! I literally didn't say anything.' " She added that she never even considered the feud between the two musicians when she was asked to pick side.

"I wasn't thinking about their beef," she continued, adding that her decision was based solely on their music. "I was thinking about their music, and Taylor is amazing, but I'm such a hip-hop fan that I would probably choose Kanye over anyone."

It appeared that Dua was on good terms with Swifties before the backlash. It happened after the songstress was spotted wearing Swift's "Speak Now Tour" shirt at a soundcheck in Germany last year. At the time, Taylor fans were super excited to see it, and even Taylor was thrilled as she commented, "I AM SCREECHING WITH JOY."

Taylor and Kanye's feud began when the latter interrupted Taylor's acceptance speech at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards. The two eventually managed to patch things up and get along well until Kanye debuted his hit track "Famous" in 2016, where he rhymed about "making that b***h [Taylor] famous."

Kanye said that Taylor had approved of the lines, but the pop star said otherwise. Things got worse when Kanye's wife, Kim Kardashian, posted an edited clip of Kanye's phone conversation with Taylor. In the clip, the rapper recited his lines, leaving out the controversial line, and asked whether he could include it in his song. Taylor then told him to choose whatever line he thought was best.

Shortly after the clip was posted online, Taylor responded that she never heard "that b***h" part. "Where is the video of Kanye telling me he was going to call me 'that b***h' in his song?" she said. "It doesn't exist because it never happened."
