First Costumer of 'Youn's Kitchen' Season 2 Turns Out to Be Former Minister of Denmark

Ole Sohn is a former Minister for Business and Growth for a year and also a former representative of Denmark's Communist Party for five years.

AceShowbiz - The second episode of tvN's "Youn's Kitchen" season 2 featured an elderly couple from Denmark enjoying bibimbap served by cast members Yoon Yeo Jung, Lee Soo Jin, Jung Yoo Mi and Park Seo Joon at their Korean restaurant in Tenerife Island, Spain. It was later revealed that the husband of the couple was actually a former minister of Denmark.

In Friday, January 12 episode the couple was the first customers at the restaurant. They really loved the bibimbap and said, "The bibimbap was delicious. I feel great afterwards when I eat this kind of food."

The husband, who was revealed to be Ole Sohn, is a former Minister for Business and Growth for a year in Denmark from October 2011. Sohn is also a former representative of Denmark's Communist Party for five years.

During his time serving as a minister, Sohn once visited the Blue House, the residence of the Korean president. He went to Blue House alongside the prince and princess of Denmark.

"The food was as great as what I ate at the Blue House," he said in the interview with the tvN show, which premiered its first season on March 24, 2017.

"Youn's Kitchen" is currently a hit show in South Korea, taking the second place with 243 points in The Content Power ranks, which list TV shows based on their overall popularity and influence on consumer behavior. The show was only a few points behind fellow tvN show "Kang's Kitchen", which actually is a "Journey to the West" spin-off inspired by "Youn's Kitchen".

The sophomore season of "Youn's Kitchen" kicked off with an impressive rating, averaging a 14.074|percent| rating according to AGB Ratings. The second episode further solidified the show's status as one of the current popular shows in Korea with a 14.48|percent| rating.

"Youn's Kitchen 2" airs on Fridays at 9.50 P.M. on tvN.
