'He's throwing a lot of shade but we haven't talked in four years since Sean's [Lowe] wedding,' the 36-year-old realtor said of Jef, who made a bet about Arie's relationship on 'The Bachelor'.

AceShowbiz - "The Bachelor" star Arie Luyendyk Jr. has weighed in on Jef Holm's recent tweet, in which the latter threw a shade at him by betting "5k" if Arie "lasts 1 year with anyone." Appearing on Access Live, the 36-year-old auto racing driver/realtor, didn't seem to be fazed by his former "The Bachelor" castmate's salty tweet.

"I know, it's like he's throwing a lot of shade but we haven't talked in four years since Sean's [Sean Lowe] wedding," Arie revealed. Speaking to Entertainment Tonight, Arie added, "He would have lost his own bet, I guess."

When asked why Jef, who competed alongside Arie in Emily Maynard's "The Bachelorette" season and made Emily choose him over Arie, was so bitter, Arie responded, "I have no clue. You know, that's kind of a question for him more than me."

During Monday night, January 1, premiere of "The Bachelor", Jeef took to Twitter to take a jab at Arie. "Doesn't matter who gets out of the limo…I'll give 5k to the charity of @chrisbharrison's choice if @ariejr lasts 1 year with anyone," Jef, who broke up with Emily months after getting engaged, tweeted.

Arie went on saying that for now, he wanted to stay positive. "I'm concentrating on me and this whole experience. I'm not even going to get into that," he said.

Former "The Bachelor" star Nick Viall previously posted on Instagram a photo of himself and Arie while writing Peter Kraus-related jokes in the caption. Instead of feeling offended, Arie revealed that he "appreciate the Peter jokes." He explained, "I could see that. You know, everyone is rooting for the runner-up and I was in his position years ago so I totally get it."

Arie also talked about the backlash he got from giving his first impression rose to Chelsea. "I was surprised that there was so much negativity on the first impression rose," he said. "Going into that first night, I was very nervous, and I don't know who's there for me, and she made me feel like she was really invested in me. Pulling me aside and talking to me really gave me that confidence in us," he shared.

"That's why I think that first night, it really pushed me to give the first impression rose to Chelsea because like, she's here for me and she's making that very apparent," Arie concluded.
