AceShowbiz - Meghan Markle is pretty much a member of the British royal family at this point. The former "Suits" actress and fiance Prince Harry apparently were still in holidays mood as they reportedly had a double date with Prince William and Kate Middleton, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge at one of London hot spots on Wednesday, December 13.
The foursome were photographed leaving Beach Blanket Babylon, where the royal family held their annual Christmas party. Joined by the members of Kensington Palace staff, they enjoyed the festivity alongside Prince Charles, who allegedly made an appearance at the bash.
The intimate party was only attended by 60 people. Kensington Palace reportedly rented out the upstairs glamorous ballroom at the Beach Blanket for around $8800, including both food and soft drinks. The menu offered three courses with the appetizer ranging from wild mushroom soup, avocado vignette and capaccio of beef to cured salmon. The guests were offered with various selection of foods, traditional roast turkey, pan fried salmon and pumpkin risotto among others, for the main course. As for the dessert, guests had the option of Christmas pudding, chocolate cake or cheesecake.
A source claimed that party-goers had to bring their own alcohol due. It was because the restaurant had recently had its licence revoked.
William and Kate were spotted leaving in their Range Rover, opting for a rather unglamorous alley to avoid being pictured. Wearing an emerald jumper over a white shirt, Prince William was seen sitting at the back of a car beside his wife, who dressed in a black skirt and a red floral pattern.
Meanwhile, Harry and Meghan were said to be leaving much earlier.
Harry and Meghan announced their engagement on November 27 with their royal wedding being set to take place at St. George's Chapel in May 2018. Rumor had it, the ceremony, will cost $30 million. Meghan reportedly budgeted $50,000 for a custom-made wedding gown.
