The 'Justice League' actor also raved about the eighth and final season of the hit HBO series, teasing that 'it's going to be the greatest thing that’s ever aired on TV.'

AceShowbiz - Jason Momoa previously shocked fans when he made a visit to "Game of Thrones" filming set in Belfast, making fans later excitedly assume that his character on the series, Khal Drogo, would somehow make a return in the eighth and final season of the hit HBO series. However, much to everyone's disappointment, the "Justice League" star ruled out the possibility of his character’s return.

Talking to Entertainment Weekly, Momoa said, "I haven't been over there in a long time. You just want to see your friends and you end up make headlines going, 'Drogo's back!' and I'm like, 'He's dead! He can't come back, it wouldn't work.' " Momoa went on explaining that he decided to show up to see producers David Benioff and Dan Weiss, and "I just happened to see people on set."

He added that among the former cast members he recently reunited with, he was most excited to meet Tormund Giantsbane depicter, Kristofer Hivju. "I've always wanted to meet Kristofer Hivju. He's just awesome," he said.

Momoa, who is set to star in upcoming flick "Aquaman", also raved about the upcoming final season of "Game of Thrones", of course, without giving away spoilers. "Just knowing how amazing this season is going to be…" the actor teased, adding, "It's going to be the greatest thing that’s ever aired on TV."

"It's going to be unbelievable. It's going to f**k up a lot of people," he continued gushing over the highly-anticipated eighth season. "And it was a bummer because I'm a huge fan and I didn't want to know what's going on. I was like, 'Damn, I didn't want to know that!"

Momoa later revealed that he was "jumping around like an idiot" while watching the last season, especially "The Spoils of War", an episode which showed his former character's tribe getting involved in an epic war. "Seeing the Dothraki riding over the hill, going into battle, surfing their horses, it was unbelievable. It was such a cool scene. It's also a bummer moment: Why couldn't [Drogo] have died there! I could have died in battle. We never got to see Drogo going into battle," so he said.

The actor further praised episode 6 of season 7 titled "Beyond the Wall". He said, "Seeing [Jon Snow and his companions] on that [frozen lake] island, white walkers all around, and the dragon turns into a white walker… You're just like, 'What? Now I have to wait a year and a half?' "

"Game of Thrones" season 8 hasn't had a premiere date yet, though it's seemingly will premiere sometime in 2019.
