New 'Marvel's Runaways' Official Trailer Features Magic and Old Lace

Chase Stein (Gregg Sulkin) and Gert Yorkes (Ariela Barer) are seen in wide-eyed awe during their first meeting with the genetically engineered Deinonychus.

AceShowbiz - Hulu has unleashed a new full-length trailer for "Marvel's Runaways". The new trailer offers fans a better look at the upcoming series which follows six teenagers who find out that none of their parents are who they thought.

The first part of the trailer focuses on how Alex Wilder (Rhenzy Feliz) misses their childhood friends, Nico Minoru (Lyrica Okano), Karolina Dean (Virginia Gardner), Gert Yorkes (Ariela Barer), Chase Stein (Gregg Sulkin) and Molly Hernandez (Allegra Acosta). "I want to get everybody back together, and I know that it can't be like it was. The truth [is], I miss you guys," Alex tells Nico.

It seems like Alex manages to assemble their friends as they later are seen reuniting at Alex's house. The whole teenage angst vibe is later replaced by dark and action-packed scenes after they witness their parents, who are secretly members of a supervillain cabal called The Pride, doing their evil deeds in a red long robe.

Then, the six young friends discover that they inherited certain powers from their parents which later will be used to fight against their own parents. Karolina finds herself being able to make her body glow and Molly, who grows stronger despite her tiny frame, easily bends a presumably bench. Also featured in the trailer is the highly-anticipated Old Lace. Chase and Gert are in wide-eyed awe during their first meeting with the genetically engineered Deinonychus.

Based on the 2003 comics of the same name, "Marvel's Runaways" follows six teenagers who barely can stand one another but must unite against a common foe: their parents. Created by Brian K. Vaughan and Adrian Alphona, the Hulu series also stars Annie Wersching, Ryan Sands, Angel Parker, Ever Carradine, James Marsters, Kevin Weisman, Brigid Brannah, James Yaegashi, Brittany Ishibashi, Kip Pardue and Julian McMahon.

In addition to writing, Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage serve as executive producers and showrunners for the 10-episode drama. Marvel's Head of Television Jeph Loeb and Jim Chory executive-produce along with them.

The first three episodes of "Marvel's Runaways" are scheduled to premiere on Tuesday, November 21 on Hulu.
