TV

The runner-up in Rachel Lindsay's season of 'The Bachelorette' will once again try to find love on TV as he has officially signed on to star on 'The Bachelor Winter Games'.

AceShowbiz - Peter Kraus is not going anywhere. Although he fails to get Rachel Lindsay's love on "The Bachelorette", the Wisconsin native is set to join the franchise's upcoming spin-off, "The Bachelor Winter Games".

Creator Mike Fleiss shared the exciting news on his Twitter account on Wednesday, October 4. "I will be making a major announcement regarding #TheBachelor in the next couple hours!!!!!" he said. Fans needed to wait for two hours before he followed it up in a separate tweet, "Yes, Peter will be looking for love-- and going for the gold-- on #TheBachelor Winter Games!!!!"

Set to premiere in February 2018, the new spin-off will bring former "The Bachelor" and "The Bachelorette" stars together at a luxury resort in Vermont. They will compete in winter-themed athletic challenges, all while trying to find love.

While Mike didn't specifically name other cast members, he teased that fans would be getting some new faces. "Plus, sexy international Bachelors and Bachelorettes from the dozens of countries that also produce #TheBachelor..."

Bachelor Nation definitely love the idea to see the 31-year-old fitness instructor once again on their TVs after previously being disappointed when Peter was not chosen as the next Bachelor. The spot went to Arie Luyendyk Jr..

A source previously claimed that Peter was "never" ABC's frontrunner for the gig as he wasn't fond of the idea of proposing at the end of the dating show. "It was such an emotional roller coaster. I didn't feel like I had enough time to process the season and 'After the Final Rose', and where I was at in my own life at the time," he said of ABC's decision to go with Arie for the next season of "The Bachelor". "I needed more time for clarity. I'm the type of person who needs maybe too much time to process things when it comes to life and love...when I'm talking about my wife and my future, I want to take time to really think about it."
