Being an idol who is always praised for her perfect appearance, Tae Yeon shows that she, too, is flawed. The Girls' Generation member took to her Instagram page on Thursday, September 7 to share a picture of her wearing minimum or no makeup.
The 28-year-old singer lifted up her hair to highlight her perfectly small face. Her freckles on her cheeks and around her nose can be seen, but she still looks pretty. She took the selfie in what looks like a living room and captioned it with only a cake and ice cream emojis.
Her fans all praised her beauty despite her freckles. "You're so pretty," one follower wrote. "Beautiful," another simply commented. "Why are you so cute," one other marveled.
Tae Yeon recently went on a trip to London, U.K. and completed her bucket list. A "Harry Potter" fan, she posed at Platform 9 3/4 in Kings Cross Station, the fictional platform where Hogwarts students board the Hogwarts express that will take them to the school, while pretending to push a trolley through the brick wall. "I'll be off to school now," she wrote in the caption.
The picture was taken on September 1, which "Harry Potter" fans celebrate as the date Harry Potter's son Albus Severus Potter starts his first day at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Every year on that day, fans will flock to the real King's Cross Station in London to send off Albus.
She also posted photos of her wearing green eyeliner which she tagged as "Slytherin makeup." Sharing a black-and-white clip of the city, she wrote along with it, "Bucket list [check]." Another video and photo highlighted a pigeon on the street. She cheekily captioned it, "My owl doesn’t listen to me."
The "Fine" songstress seemed to enjoy the food in the country as well, as she shared pictures of her indulging in the meals.
