Ariel Winter has been frequently spotted wearing tiny shorts, but she wants people to know that she's not intentionally trying to expose her booty-ful behind. The "Smurfs: The Lost Village" voice actor was spotted on Monday, September 4 going braless in a turtleneck crop top and wearing a pair of Daisy Dukes that barely covered her butt when she went grocery shopping in L.A.

It's the second time in a matter of days that Ariel has been photographed rocking tiny shorts while at the store. On Tuesday, the 19-year-old former Disney star took to Twitter to defend her booty-baring shorts. "I literally do not try and show my ass when I wear shorts," she said, before explaining that "my ass just eats them up and then I don't notice...awkward af."

This isn't the first time Ariel has defended her choice of outfit. Earlier in July, the beautiful girlfriend of Levi Meaden launched a lengthy rant on the micro-blogging site after being criticized for "squeezing" into her shorts. She slammed haters for body-shaming her and urged them to "leave young women alone."

"Pretty annoyed about the focus on the fact that I wear shorts, and the commentary that I'm 'squeezing' into them or the idea that it's not okay for me to wear shorts," Ariel began in her rant. "It's SUMMER. Get over it," she continued. "It's hot, obviously I'm going to wear minimal clothes. I'm not going to suffer in a turtleneck to please anyone."

"I'm not a whore because I wear shorts and tank tops. I'm a normal girl," the "Modern Family" star defended herself. "Also, I'm not 'squeezing' into anything. My shorts fit me and everything I'm doing is just fine. Please leave young women alone. We're just living our lives. It's really troubling that we even have to deal with this kind of stuff nowadays. Please stop criticizing everything everyone does!!!!!"
